Dr. Ivana Nandhavan (previously Dr. Nguyen) is proud to be changing the perception of dental care through her innovative and personalized approach. She truly believes in patient-centered care in which she works with you to choose the treatment that best suits your needs. With her soft touch, engaging personality, and quality skills, Dr. Ivana prides herself in establishing a natural rapport with her patients.
Dr. Ivana grew up in Slovakia and moved to Boston in 2004. She graduated from Northeastern University with highest honors (summa cum laude) and received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the University of Connecticut, School of Dental Medicine. She completed a general practice residency at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut where she received extensive training in all aspects of general dentistry.
Dr. Ivana is passionate about staying on the leading edge of dentistry and invests hundreds of hours into ongoing training each year. She is in the process of completing a 300 hour year-long continuum specializing in implant dentistry through the Boston Maxicourse at the Boston Harvard Club.
Beyond maintaining clinical excellence, Dr. Ivana loves to build lasting relationships. She loves to get to know her patients better by creating a safe and comfortable environment to provide the best possible dental care.
Dr. Ivana is a big fan of community service and enjoys giving back to the community. She has participated in numerous Mission of Mercy (MOM) projects, providing dental care to the underserved population throughout New England. She has traveled as far as Honduras to help population in need.
